Contact Lens Prescriptions
You acknowledge and agree that all information given to us is true and accurate. Lensworld.com.au does not accept responsibility for any consequences of false or mistaken information from the customers. You hereby certify that you have a valid prescription not older than 24 months for the contact lenses that you are ordering. You also warrant that all the information supplied to us exactly matches the prescription given to you by your Eyecare Provider. You agree to strictly adhere to your Eyecare Provider’s advice regarding the use and handling of the contact lenses as prescribed. Notwithstanding the recommendations of the contact lens manufacturer you agree to adhere to the wearing regime as recommended by your Eyecare Provider. You agree to stop wearing the contact lenses and seek immediately the advise of an Eyecare Provider if your vision or the appearance of your eyes is not normal. Should it be deemed necessary you hereby give consent to us to verify your prescription and any other information relating to your eyes. We will however contact you beforehand and you may retract your consent at that stage, which allows us to terminate your contact lens order.
Eye Examination Recommendation
For continuous successful wearing of contact lenses we recommend to have your eyes checked every twelve months. For safe wearing of contact lenses your last eye examination should not exceed 24 months.
Making a contract with us
When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received and accepted your order, which indicates that a contract has been made between us. We will take payment from you when we accept your order. In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, we will refund the payment and we will advise you that the goods are no longer available.
An order is placed on our website via adding a product to the shopping cart and proceeding through our checkout process. The checkout process includes giving us delivery, billing and any other relevant details for your order e.g. an optional gift message for gift cards, entering payment information and submitting your order. The final step consists of a confirmation page with full details of your order. We will also email you with confirmation of your order.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders even after payment that we believe, solely by our own judgement, to be placed for commercial purposes, e.g. any kind of reseller. You agree that Lensworld.com.au does not carry any responsibility for a refusal or dispute regarding an insurance claim lodged by you for products purchased from us. Refunds will not be provided based on formentioned reasons.
Payment options
We currently accept the following credit cards and payment facilities, payments will be settled via the acquiring payment facility into the accounts controlled by GVO Limited in New Zealand giving this country legal jurisdiction, for the Transaction, that governs the contractual relationship between the Merchant and the Cardholder as the purchaser of the goods. All transactions including capturing, and refunds will be processed in AUD, we do not charge any additional fee’s or currency conversion costs.

All prices listed on www.Lensworld.com.au are in Australian dollars. We can not be held liable for any additional costs to receiving your product e.g. sales tax, VAT or customs duty. All prices are correct when published. Please note that we reserve the right to alter prices at any time for any reason. If this should happen after you have ordered a product, we will contact you prior to processing your order.

Pre-paid gift certificates are redeemable for goods sold on the Lensworld.com.au website. Lost or stolen certificates are the responsibility of the holder. Gift certificates expire 3 months after purchase. Balance information can be given on request.

Wrong Product Delivered
We apologise if you have received the wrong product. Please email sales@lensworld.com.au to arrange this. Make sure you have your order details handy.
Faulty Products
Under the Consumer Guarantees Act you are entitled to have your product repaired, replaced or refunded.
All products supplied by Lensworld.com.au are vigorously tested to international standards. However, as with any mass produced products, there will always be the probability that a tiny percentage may exhibit a fault, which is why we provide a 14 day return to base warranty on all goods.
The faulty lens will need to be returned to our office along with a copy of your prescription from your optometrist which is no older than 24 months.
Faulty product will not be replaced if it is not returned for inspection, Lensworld.com.au will not be liable for any shipping charges on returns.
Simply email sales@lensworld.com.au to enquire about returning the product for inspection.
Damaged Product
If you suspect your product has been damaged during delivery please do not throw away the parcel or cover in which the product came as we will need to inspect it. Please email sales@lensworld.com.au and we will organise the return of the product for inspection and will endeavour to send you a replacement as soon as possible.
Backorders
If a product is temporarily out of stock it will be placed on backorder and you will be notified, if an item on backorder cannot be sourced, we will contact you to discuss your options.
